A successful Sporthorse breeding program exclusively based on fully imported sire and dam lines which carry the genes of the world class sires like:
Ramiro, Landgraf I, Cor de la Bryere, Caletto I, Cottage Son xx, Marlon xx, Loutano, Calypso I and II, Calando IV, Coriander, Abglanz, Ibikus, Carajan, Donauwind, Habicht..
APH Sporthorses have been competing at Volvo World Cups (Kür) and World Equestrian Games. At the Atlanta Olympics, Jägermeister by Polarschnee won a bronze medal for New Zealand in eventing, whilst Peron, maternal grandson of Coktail, won a dressage bronze for the US. Numerous national and state titles have been won in dressage, showjumping and eventing.
The Breeding program developed and has further evolved from a record 23 imported Warmbloods since 1980 - all of proven Trakehner and Holsteiner bloodlines.
The horses are bred and raised as naturally as possible growing up in a herd situation with optimal environment and climate contributing to sound social behaviour and tough physical health. This forms a solid basis for future training and success. | |

The emphasis of the program is to breed a quality sporthorse with correct conformation which will support elite performance and soundness, for longevity in the sport - aspects such as well set on neck, sloping shoulder, flat backs, short coupling, powerful hindquarters, well muscled forearms and thighs and most importantly a hind leg which steps under the horse.
The success of the program can be judged not only by success in the sport, but also by the fact that many of the current best performers are produced from mares bred by APH.

A Warmblood studbook fully recognised by the Royal Agricultural Society of New South Wales, STUDBOOK APH is a member of the World Breeding Federation of Sport Horses (WBSFH).
